AGP GLOBSQUAD 2013 B-SIDES

Asheville Ganj Patrol provides us with some clips form the yesteryear that apparently didn’t make “the cut.”

Nonetheless, this here series of moving pictures is still worthy of viewing as they take you through the year’s bails and unused footage alongside a chill, funky tune to cap it all off.

Check it out, or don’t haha, either way these guys are having a blast skating down in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and when they aren’t there, you can catch them shotgunning beers and poaching runs at your local races. Cheers to skateboarding!

Matt Jack’n Bailey

AGP: Matt Jack'N Bailey

Because sometimes I’m too lazy to not make my own title and Matt Jack’n Bailey is ill in and of itself. Once again the boys down south from AGP Downhill provide some gnarly skating for your viewing pleasure. This winter has been long and snow filled up north, so we appreciate our friends like AGP Downhill keeping our eyes off the ski slopes and onto the asphalt as the weather starts to warm up and roads dry off.

Check it out and leave us a comment below.

I Think I’m Bi-Slidual, Dude

Bislidual

We’ve posted Matt Deitch (from AGP Downhill) videos before, so you should be somewhat familiar with him and the fact that he loves to slay some of the tastiest roads on the east coast as part of another day in the life. In this little 18 second clip Matt shows you know that he can swing both ways when it comes to hitting it at an angle, if you know what I mean, making him officially ‘bi-slidual.’

If that was an absolutely terrible joke, feel free to rag on me in the comments.

AGP Downhill + Sextagonocopter

AGP Downhill

Some of the AGP Downhill homies — Matt Deitch, Jack Traynor and Jared Henry — somehow got their hands on a “sextagonocopter” for this Metro Wheel Co. edit and the results were gnarly.

Check it out as they make their way down some of the best terrain on the right side of the country. Check them out on Facebook if you get a chance.

Team Mids Down Undahhh

Team Mids

The boys from Eastachusetts grabbed the van and headed from one land of accents to another, meeting up with the AGP Downhill boys to skate one of the south’s most gnarly and entertaining runs, both to skate and watch. This video features the Team Mids homies Norm “The” Plante, East Coast Mac, Pete Laugh, and Tom Leary.

Make sure you’re our fan on Facebook, you subscribed on YouTube, and you follow us on Twitter and Instagram, dawgs.

East Coast Mac Sighting

For those of you not too familiar, East Coast Mac is the man that’s usually behind the lens when it comes to Team Mids videos. Mac is a humble yet gnarly dude and is a grade A chiller through and through; to top it off he ends up getting some of the most killer shots of fast east coast downhill skateboarding.

Recently Mac hit me up and showed me this video from when the Team Mids boys loaded up the Mids Van and headed down to North Cacka-lacka. Being one that likes to stay behind the camera more than in front of it myself, I was immediately stoked when I watched this video. This is one of the east’s gnarliest hills on the east coast, showing that Mac can definitely hold his own. This time, Jack Traynor and Matt Deitch get behind the lens instead of in front of it to film East Coast Mac as he charges this classic in style.

Watch for his game of peek-a-boo in the second to last right hand corner.

50 MPH Downhill Skateboarding Crash

File this one under the “that just made my butthole pucker” category because this video will leave your palms sweating without a doubt. Tutone Skateboards rider Kyle Kay is following fellow insanely fast ripper and teammate Josh Young down a favorite mountain run down south when suddenly things go from a-okay to terribly f*cking wrong in an instant, leaving Josh on the pavement along with Kyle almost instantly after.

Both of these guys ended up being just fine and were extremely fortunate that some cuts and bruises were the worst of their injuries after an open road high speed crash without leathers. Kyle gives a great point of view account of what happens when you’re following close to someone else, and shows exactly why you should trust them and know their skating style, and that shit can happen even if you do know them well and are in control yourself.

We’ve posted some of these guys’ videos in the past, so make sure you go back and get yourself familiar if you haven’t already. In the words of their friend in the follow car, “You guys were f*cking mobbing. You were going 50 [mph].”

Asheville Ganja Patrol Rage ACME Extreme Downhill

If you like seeing people go really fast and make it look far too easy, you’ll like this video below. Tutone Skateboards riders Matthew Deitch and Jack Traynor raged hard at this past weekend’s ACME Extreme Downhill race in Port Jervis, New York. Taking 2nd and 4th places in the Pro Division respectively, the boys from down south showed everyone that they mean business when it comes to going fast.

These two are seriously some of the gnarliest shredders I’ve met in a long time and I’m stoked to see how well this video came out. Keep an eye out for more from the Asheville Ganja Patrol (AGP Downhill) in the future as we can only imagine the steamy edits that’ll be coming out of these guys in the future.

The legendary Team Mids member Kai Salam did the driving in the follow car for this video, channeling his inner NASCAR skills and scaring more than a few spectators in the first crash corner. Check it out and let us know what you think!
