Anthony Flis in The Spot V3

Anthony Flis

Anthony Flis¬†is true OG ripper on the east coast. We’ve written about him plenty and he’s been featured in some of the gnarlier film projects taking place out east, including the Skatesgiving series (except for this year’s) and his brainchild, this past summer’s DCDC Tour.

In his new video for Volante Anthony rages his local downhill run, making it look all too easy. Unfortunately he broke his foot the weekend after filming this so they couldn’t get as much footage as they wanted, although it makes for a quick, fast paced, and very entertaining video (props to Blake Smith on the edit). Take a 1:00 to check it out and drop a comment below to let us know what you think.

Comet DCDC Tour Part 2

Comet DCDC Tour

I meant to post this update to the Comet DCDC Tour as soon as it came out, but things were busy and it got shoved to the side and forgotten. While I was cleaning out my e-mail box today though, I found the e-mail with the link to the video again and gave it a quick watch. As expected it was straight fire, with Anthony Flis, Brian Peck, Eric Jensen and the rest of the crew shredding hard and having a ton of fun. My only qualm is now I want summer back, and that ain’t happening…guess it’s time to get used to winter.

Peep the second episode and leave a comment below with what you thought.

Comet Skateboards DCDC Tour Part 1

Comet Skateboards DCDC TourHellllllll yeah! This is the video I’ve been waiting for since seeing photos and video clips from the homies while they were filming this summer. Some of the Comet Skateboards team linked up with Anthony Flis’ old crew and went to some of the gnarliest skate spots in the mid-Atlantic for the Comet Skateboards DCDC Tour.

The DCDC Tour crew was made up of Comet riders¬†Anthony Flis, Eric Jensen, Jared Henry, Dave Tannaci, Nick Ronzani, Nino Almazon, Brian Peck, Nick Ketner, and Will Seal, so you know things got nice and wild. These guys embrace the ‘skate everything’ mentality to the fullest and rip some gnarly pools and streets to shreds. This is only the first of a multi-part series too, so you can expect to see a lot more gnar like this in the near future.

If you’re living under a rock and aren’t too familiar, the Comet Skateboards crew is one of the raddest in the game, from bossman Jason all the way down to the homies packing boxes, they’re about having a ton of fun skateboarding and leaving the drama at the door – exactly what we love. They’re also based right here on the east coast, in the gnarly hills of Ithaca, NY.

Video: East Coast OG Anthony Flis Gets Down

This video hasn’t been getting nearly the attention it deserves so I felt like I had to share it to make sure I did my part in spreading the word. East Coast OG and Comet Skateboards rider Anthony Flis gets down in upstate New York, taking to some gnarly runs in and around Ithaca and going ball-t0-the-walls fast while managing to maintain a solid and steady steeze. Watch, learn, be amazed. The Wild Boar is uncaged folks.
